John Cronin has spent his career building technology that serves people first - from winning a White House Champion of Change award for transportation innovation to now tackling housing. He experienced the change in Colorado's housing landscape firsthand and understood it deeply.
In 2024, John led the Summit County Tally Count with SHG Advisors. The results were eye-opening: 137 people with unstable housing were identified, compared to just 1 person the year before. Of those, 52% were employed - this isn't an unemployment problem. The #1 factor? No housing availability, cited by 40% of respondents.
But here's what really stood out: people knew of rooms and spaces, but they didn't know how to trust strangers enough to share them.
